ºÚÁÏÉç

The ºÚÁÏÉç (TEA) is seeking to continue providing school systems in Texas with Mobile STEM Laboratories that can be reserved by districts across the state of Texas for up to one week through an application process. The Texas Mobile STEM Laboratory Statewide Management Grant will oversee the statewide administration of the Texas Mobile STEM Laboratories. Separately, the Texas Mobile STEM Laboratory Program Grant will focus on managing and delivering instruction within the eight state-owned mobile STEM labs. The state-owned Texas Mobile STEM Laboratory program provides kindergarten–grade 8 students with pre-approved STEM activities that integrate content knowledge, the engineering design process, and technology/equipment that can be transported to all regions of Texas. The TEA defines STEM education as a method of hands-on teaching and learning where students apply academic content by creatively solving real-world problems with innovative design-based thinking to prepare students for future career opportunities.

From March 17, 2026, to August 31, 2027.
